A while ago I spotted an oddity on eBay - the Filey pattern set with added flowers. The seller kindly told me the flowers appeared to be made of cardboard (!) and were very well made, and equally kindly agreed to let me add the photos here as a reference. I suspect this is a one-off set decorated by the owner. Huge thanks to Keith at http://shop.ebay.co.uk/merchant/all-cats for permission to include this material here.
NEW INFO: According to the 3rd edition of Bagley Glass, by Angela Bowey, the decoration wasn't cardboard nor home-decorated. Apparently the flowers were made of thin leather, which was cut, formed, painted, and then glued to the glass. Trinket sets with this decoration are ultra-rare, and the complete set below is an excellent example.
